Also, the WP was used as a conventional weapon, not as a chemical weapon, as your account seems to suggest. WP rounds were used to flush combatants in areas devoid of civilians.

Hey, Patrick. Try practicing what you preach. All those posters were replying to the very first poster (fart) who typed, and I quote, “played them all”. Had you read the posts yourself, you wouldn’t look loke such a kackass right now.

As for the war, to each his own, but judging by your obvious lack of reading comprehension skills displayed in the first post, I think I’ll form my opinions based upon the information provided by someone a little better at deceminating information.

haven’t played any of the games yet i have to agree with Smith about the whole bullshit thing. This is America people. Freedom of speech. Interpretation (i hope thats the right spelling) is a form of speech and thus art is a form of speech and thus is an opinion. If someone doesn’t like the damn game then don’t buy the thing. Don’t to the freaking government crying big bad breasts were shown in a video game. Oh no….!

Oh yea they used white phosphorus in Fallujah which is against the Geneva convention and causes really terrible fatalaties (disolves skin like acid).

The American military claim they only use it to illuminate areas which is one use for it but eye-witnesses in the form of the soldiers in Fallujah have attested to its use as well as independant observers trying to explain the skeletalized corpses.

Iraq is truly a horrific war and that videogame glorifies one of its darkest chapters.

He never claimed to play 6 days in fallujah and he even wrote about it not being released “publisher Konami dropped the game after a fierce public backlash.”

This is such bullshit.
People should be able to sell or distribute whatever the hell they want – if a game is somehow offensive to someone, then fuck them. They don’t have to play the game. I think the last one was pretty funny, because people say it’s glorifying an unjust war. This is an OPINION – that it is an unjust war – and if it is there right to ban a game because of an opinion, then the game designers should definitely be allowed to make their game reflect their own opinion. It’s hilarious that people get so pissed about not only completely harmless games, but that they go running to the freaking government or newspapers or whatever to discredit the games
