Should Hilary Step Down Before The American People Die Of Boredom?

It is the burning question of the moment – should Hilary Clinton step down and let Barack Obama take the biggest competition in the world ever (or at least that’s what the press would have you think about the ongoing battle between them for the Democrat ticket in this year’s presidential election)?
That intro may well be a little lacklustre to say the least, but frankly I’m bored of hearing about it day in and day out. As politically incorrect as that may be at the minute, it’s time to face fact. The American people are slitting their wrists every time they turn on the TV and see another debate between the two. We all know that politicians are like toddlers fighting over a toy they both want, but this is really taking the biscuit. You can literally see the Republicans rubbing their ands together with glee as another 4 years of George W Bush… sorry, John McCain… is looking increasingly likely. But the question is, should Hilary admit defeat and step down or should she fight til the death? That is the question!

To make it easy for ya’ll, I’ve managed to break away from the monotony of the “race” and lay it all on the table – why she should and why she shouldn’t.
For Quitting
- Enough is enough people.
- We want our TV back! What happened to the millions starving in Africa being on the news? Car chases? Crap reruns of old shows?
- The debates don’t even deal with the issues, just the squabbling of two people that are old enough to know better.
- She’s a woman! Just for the record so am I, but apparently we females aren’t intelligent enough to rule the world. We should be by our double wide cooking our husband meals every night instead. A woman president? Never gonna happen, not until men realise that they don’t run their lives, we just let them think they do!
- She doesn’t have the popular vote, and after all we NEVER elect presidents that don’t have the popular vote! Al Gore’s been a magnificent president…
- She’s not pretty enough, and if we have to look at her face constantly then she’d have to be pretty… oh, and have big breasts as well.
- She’d never be a puppet. She’d do things her way, and her cabinet wouldn’t like that. Obama already has the strings in place so he’s by far the better candidate on this ticket.

Against Quitting
- And let Obama be president? The country can’t rule itself people!
- At least she knows what she’s talking about. Obama hasn’t got a clue.
- For the WWE fans out there, “can you smell what Barack is cooking”? Oh please!
- He can’t even keep his minister under control so could you imagine what he’d be like if ever he was the president?
- And while we’re on the subject of his minister, why should the past affect what is happening now? It isn’t about race, gender or who has an ex-president for a husband. It’s about who can do the job!
- If the Florida and Michigan votes were allowed to stand, she’d be in the lead anyway. Why does Florida always cock it up somehow?
- She actually admitted she was wrong! A politician admitting a bad decision is amazing, really. At least we know she’s human.
- She’s a woman and everyone knows that we know best anyway.
- Nobody really cares anymore so let her do what she likes.

In conclusion, should Hilary quit? Hell no! The only thing worse than McCain carrying on Bush’s charitable work is Obama the puppet in the Oval Office. The man blatantly doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing.
But then again, we did vote in George W. Asshole…
How much does it cost to move to Europe?
